St. Louis County and Some Cities are Tax-Free, for Back-To-School Shopping Aug. 5 – 7.

The tax free weekend in the St. Louis area starts midnight Friday August 5 and ends midnight August 7, 2011

Participating cities include: Afton, Chesterfield, Crestwood, Creve Coeur, Florissant, Glendale, Hazelwood, Maryland Heights, St. Charles, Valley Park, and Winchester.
If we have omitted your tax exempt city, contact the webmaster and we will add your city to the list.

Fortunately for Missourians, St. Louis County is also waiving their tax during the Tax-Free weekend.

Below is the list of cities that will not be participating in the 2011 sales tax holiday.  The respective city taxes at these locations will still be collected on the sale of qualifying items; but note, shoppers will still receive the tax exemption on state and county sales taxes at the businesses in the non-participating cities during the Tax Exempt Weekend.
